Project Summary   

 
 

Building Project with a total implantation area of  608,75m², to be developed in two distinct levels.
The main Access to the interior of the building in the North Elevation is through a porch leading to the hall. This reception and distribution hall, with its impressive semi-dome, built with handcrafted (through ancestral techniques) ‘boneco’ brick, facilitates the organization of horizontal communication within this ground floor and the access to the vertical communication with the Basement.

Project Conception

 

This building will use many of the Region’s traditional materials,
namely bricks and tiles, lime stone, Moorish tiles and Mediterranean lining, as well as covering solutions using millennial techniques of the Ghrarb-al-Andalus Vernacular Architecture.
The building’s volumetric conception, the type of windows and the volumetric solutions permit the adaptation to the region’s climate, minimizing the wastage of non-renewable energies.
